Hello dear , a material has a determined solubility but it can be increased for the pH of the medium, for example this is the case of the carboxylic acids , but there is not a direct relation between pH of a material and his solubility.
Thanks for the wonderful answer and interest. but I noted that, in chemical polymerization process we are used acidic medium which is increasing PH of producing polymer and then non dissolved in many solvents but when reduce its PH while be dissolved in most organic solvents.
Hello dear, it depend on the structure of your material and the interaction with the medium, for example it will be diferent when you has a basic or acid, because can occur protonation or desprotonation. Best regards
It depends mainly on the drug's chemical structure. If the drug is ionizable, off course the solubility would be greatly pH dependent. If not, the pH would be of minor effect.
