By the way, to refer to Eisenberg would be no reference in the end. I know of other researchers who have this family name. And to say Eisenberg et al. is to leave the reader at complete darkness. And why post the same post twice? Parsimony is a virtue, namely in science. I wonder whether we can assess social emotional skills via an interval scale. Accordingly, it would it be preferable to speak about Spearman's coefficients to Pearson's ones to refer to the correlation between social emotional skills and prosocial behavior. With respect, I would prefer to speak about prosocial behaviors (e.g., helping, sharing, donating or comforting) than prosocial behavior.
