By multiscale models I mean models which range across multiple spatial and/or temporal scales. I would be particularly interested if there is a methodology describing how to integrate submodels from different spatial/temporal scales. No specific area was mentioned (e.g. computational systems biology) because I would be interested in the general theory common to most multiscale models, if such a theory exists.
