Thankyou so much for your reply i really appreciate.

Please can you guide me a little bit more. I already write my questionnaire to measure my research questions. But i was in doubt for question nb 4 that is linked to critical thinking. Could you please take a look on my questionnaire attached below to know if i have to add the questions you inform me or it could be another separate questionnaire?

The questionnaire is standardized and was used by mascil (mathematics and science for life) in a report on the large-scale survey about inquiry based learning and teaching in the European partner countries.

I selected several parts from the questionnaire that are related to my research questions..The questionnaire is made up of 8 questions and 2 of them are questions with likert scale.

These are my research questions:

1) To what extent do nurse educators employ IBL in teaching?

2) To what extent do nurse educators focus on the content of the subject rather on teaching students critical thinking?

3)what are the challenges that prevent nursing educators from applying IBL?

4)Is there a correlation between IBL and the development of critical thinking skills among nursing students?

5) How does nurse educators in private nursing institutions compare to those in public ones in terms of the use of IBL?

Is your study looking at the extent that nurse educators employ IBL or is it seeking to help them evaluate their teaching methods, or to determine if the IBL promotes critical thinking in their students?

You will want to know what you are wanting to accomplish before you design the research tool. That will help you choose the best questions for your survey.
