I'm looking for DICOMs to use for my brain tumour modelling research using diffusion tensors. We only have patients with existing tumours. Is there a public domain database which has DICOMs of healthy brains? I haven't been able to find one. Alternately, if anyone has a healthy brain DICOM set they could allow me to use that would be really appreciated.

There are several databases that come to mind for high-quality (and high-volume) data from normal subjects, some of these are listed in the NITRC, but there are likely others too:
1. (A collection of data from across the globe, aimed at fcMRI, but likely contains useful data for you) http://fcon_1000.projects.nitrc.org/

Fantastic, thanks, I had a look in a couple of those places before I asked, clearly I was not looking in the right spot.
I am referring the situation in India. Generally normal healthy people do not go to hospital because they feel there is no need when no ailments. So Data on healthy people may not be available in any country. Still, we get data of healthy people. For example, in the case of thyroid, some suspected cases of hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism are referred for tests. When the test results show normal, they are treated as people with normal thyroid function and their test values are regarded as normal values.
The same question for me. And I think such a database could be very useful.
