I am currently writing a blockchain paper.
In the next chapter, I'm trying to cover various requirements for developing a blockchain-token based on Ethereum.
Furthermore, in the following chapter I try to compare different distribution channels and create a kind of "best-practice" for token distribution.
Would you have any ideas?

What do you mean by different distribution channels?
From a technical perspective, ERC20 token creation is relatively fast and straightforward. However, token distribution on Ethereum (Layer 1) makes no sense from an economic point of view.
Since Ethereum is developing towards rollup centric Layer 2 solutions

you can use such a Layer 2 solution for your token distribution.
Right now, there are several approaches/theories about how to design the rollups (optimistic rollups, zk-rollups, ...), with even more organizations pursuing the implementation of these concepts (arbitrum, optimism, zksync,loopring, polygon,...)
imho the project zksync is the project with the highest potential providing the full functionality of Ethereum (transactions, smart contracts, NFTs, token creation) on a Layer 2 solution with the same security as L1 Ethereum. (unlike other L2 solutions like optimistic rollups)
The fees are a fraction of an L1 transaction and will even decrease with EIP4488 (https://zycrypto.com/why-vitaliks-eip-4488-proposal-could-be-the-next-big-thing-for-the-ethereum-network/) and the transition from PoW to PoS.
Also nice to know: Zksync will have an additional functionality implemented in a sub-project called zkPorter. With zkPorter ever higher (x10-x100) TPS are reached for transactions that don't need the security derived from L1.
The security will be provided by an L2 staking mechanism of the zksync-coin which is not issued yet.
There are rumors that the token will be issued to the people that tested zksync until a certain date, so just go to https://zksync.io/, connect with your metamask and try it ;)
