The governments should answer the following question --->
What will the human-machine workplace of the future look like, and how exactly will it benefit workers?
I think the advent of automation may not mean that humans will be displaced from the workforce, but rather that they will be diverted to other areas of the business where they can deliver greater value.
Is there a future for human workforce? How will Robotics, AI, Machine Learning, and Advanced Intelligent Algorithms impact our lives, our jobs and World Economy?
In my personal opinion, all the AI mentioned above only disrupt some jobs change for some human workforce in short-term but in long term after re-skilling etc. more new job opportunities will be created i.e. there will be net growth of jobs minus jobs replaced (see diagram attached from Gartner).
Before looking at the future, we already live a reality in which humans are exchanged for robots and AI. An example of a phenomenon that influences this is the Industry 4.0. What should happen in the future is to further increase the use of robots. For, as for the economic aspect, it is evident the improvement of production.
Already workers must reinvent themselves and adapt to the new multidisciplinary work format. Human intelligence will also be needed.

Dear Colleagues, thank you so much to all of you for your kind and precious participation and contributions; I am reading all of the proposed by you articles. I will come back with an elaborated abstract based on those materials... In the meanwhile, I am trying to prepare a review on this fascinating topic, and in my humble opinion, it is already evident that 1) current AI Automation Robotics have been here with us already for a while... 2) recent developments in AI and electronics point to the realms of the next industrial revolution that will eclipse any previous revolution... any. The question arising is: Is Humanity ready to face it? Can you tell/predict about the impact of such kind of revolution on our planet, specially on human ecology? All opinions are most welcome!
Let look it straightly. People on RG are scientist, experts who established themselves after years of hard work. On the contrary, most workers are not like them. Clerks, shop assistance, waitress, drivers, miners, labourer... do skilled unimaginative jobs. They can be easily replaced by machines. Using only current technology, it easy to order a food, bet online, pay bills, read e-books or newspapers... Only a few years ago, all these jobs were done by humans. In agriculture, there are powerful agricultural machine that replaced a couple of tractors. Only creative jobs were survive. But, could all people be creative? As incomes (mentioned in article on the top) are privileged of minority.
I am doing the research to determine the optimal safe staffing standard for right workforce planning, which should be secured and should not be replaced by AI or Robot.Article Optimal Safe Staffing Standard for Right Workforce Planning
