As the fiber strength is a matter of prime concern, I want to know about the physical & chemical characteristics of the Luffa & Jute fiber and specifically, the possible blends of this fiber with another natural one.
Habibi Mohamed sir, thanks for your concern. I am looking forward to these. But if I could get any specific data or information, that would be more effective for my research.
Its depend for which particular application you are looking for. Generally luffa fiber is used for the extraction of bio masses or cellulose nanocrystals uses as a reinforcing materials in composites. It is generally difficult to use luffa as fiber as it is very stiff in nature. On the other hand Jute fiber comes from bast family having good properties like tensile strength, moisture sensitivity, low thermal properties and having a porous and non abrasive nature. You may use both fibers in different forms as reinforcement materials.
