A journal European Chemical Bulletin was added in the scopus source list in the month till June 2023. In the month July 2023 it is out from scopus list. But it will not be considered in the scopus from December 2022, Volume 11, Issue 12, Pages 22-38. How much it is justified the validity of scopus. And what about those papers that were published between January to June 2023 (these published papers bydefault will out from the scopus). Due to this glitch and wrong policy of the scopus, one thesis has not been accepted. Why the scopus has not taking seriously to update the data every month or every day. And if any journal excluding from the souce then it should be excluded from the current month, not from previous 6-7 months. I think scopus papers should not be in the creteria of thesis submission. What do you think about this a big issue.

As to my knowledge and experience that I am recording my answer to this question here.
It could be one of the measurements to identify the status of the Scopus Indexed Journals.
Scopus evaluation will be done for every year. The Journal will publish as per the name Scopus in the one year duration.
The Scopus measurements including the Almetrics of citation score, Impact Factor, how many of the researchers have cited within a month, downloaded and shared the published articles in many number of ways to increase the ultimate score of the Journals will be considered for the Scopus Indexed.
The main import things is that the quality, cite score, Impact factor etc will help to determine the Scopus score of the particular Journal.
Some Journals have failed these measurements within the one year that is why the Scopus status was removed at once.
The Status of the Scopus Indexed Journals will be ascertained by the valid Almetrics measurements including the Journal popularity among the Academic and Research communities forever.
Hope many expertise and professionals can add some more answers to strengthen this question as well.

Scopus is, together with others, ‘fighting’ against scientific misconduct. There are sadly enough predatory journals, hijacked journals and low-quality journals that abuse the scientific publishing system and/or do not fulfil a minimum set of quality requirements ensuring scientific rigor etc.

It is a good thing that Scopus is checking journals on a regular base unfortunately there is a ‘lag time’ between investigation and a final decision to discontinue a title and this leads to period where fraudsters like the people behind the journal you mention can make victims. In other words, a Scopus indexing is a good indicator that a journal is more or less okay, but it is no absolute guarantee that you are dealing with a good and genuine journal. More indicators determine this, things like reputation/tradition of the publisher, more indexing services like DOAJ, PubMed, Clarivate’s WoS etc.

Yes is it because evaluation rules,citations score ,impact factors .....etc play an important and main factor for publication to be accepted for publication.
it’s not fair the authors published their works when there was a journal on the base, and now it turns out that they are not indexed on the Scopus base
