In the EIS tests, Zsimpwin software is taken to fit the results. My results show that the order of impadance modulus value is different from the oder of corrosion resistance (charge transfer resistance and pitting resistance). I would like to know how to interpret this situation.

EIS is a AC technique and the perturbation is for few second-- nearly virgin surface
DC methods involve the order of one minute - the surface is different with dissolution product

Slyters analysis involves real part of the impeance vs square root of( 2x22/7x frequency) manually at moderate frequencies - it should pass through Origin - from the slope calculate R ct. -- old method used in 1960's
