It will be interesting to see the progress of nanotechnology in Electronics (Quantum Computing in particular), Sensing applications (Both Biomedical Imaging and Chemical Sensing), Renewable Energy (Quantum Solar cells particularly in terms of efficiency, Water Splitting,etc). No big surprise if we get to see many or all of these at commercial scale. Hope this helps.
