Hello Everyone

My name is Macarena and i'm currently doing my thesis. Since the main technique is cultured cells. I've been practicing for a while, but only being using P4 and older mouses for now. Because of this i've been wondering if using older mouses means that my cultured cells are also older.

Like for example, my theme is Gaba shift, and want to see activity pre and post this transition. But usually people do cell cultures with E18 -P3 mouses. Does that mean that because of the time line of their development, when they have been 5 DIV they are at P5 or P8, relatively?

It's confusing for me, my tutors don't agree, but I'm still unsure.
