We tested SAEW against fungi and oomycetes in 2001-2003. The effect was not stable and only in vitro or on detached plan leaves (applied with inoculation). Greenhouse test gave no significant difference with control water treatment.

Botrytis cinerea (sporeless isolate) is a standard lab fungus to multiply the fungal feedering nematodes, such as PineWood Nematode Bursaphelenchus xylophilus, and other Aphelenchidae and Aphelenchoididae species of nematodes. The junior nematode juveniles cannot feed on fungus but they feed on bacteria which the adult nematodes carry on their surfaces and in intestine. Symbiotic bacteria multiply on agar media where the Botrytis lawn covers all the surface. I never seen any bactericidial effect of Botrytis on this bacteria, they quiclky occupy the small "lakes" in petridishes, where the nematode juveniles are actively moving.

Alexander Ryss Alexander, Happy new Year 2020 to you! The question was about fungicidic effect of SAEW (Slightly acidic electrolysed water) on B.cinerea. SAEW is commonly tested against saprophytic bacteria and was permitted for treatment of sanitary facilities in USA instead of more harmful chlorine solutions. Slightly acidic electrolysed water was a popular mean of alternative medicine some 40-50 years ago in Russia. We used it when I was a kid.

AEW can be tricky. Its use can actually stimulate spore germination in rusts and smuts. I used it to kill mycelium but preserve chlamydospores in Oomycetes. [Hi to Alex, since we were probably using the same machine to make AEW at one point]
