I don’t know if that finding had any impact as that atlas is still among the most widely used.

Another widely used but more recent atlas is the one by Zhang et al. (2018) https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/29414497 (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5910210/) which also compares 10 different WM templates.

The Zhang atlas is also used in Slicer (http://dmri.slicer.org/atlases/), and is also available from nitrc https://www.nitrc.org/projects/iit/ .

Good point! Though it has not been mentioned at their homepage whether they have updated for issues and there is nowhere to find the log for updates, I would contact them to be sure if I were you.

In case you would like to examine further choices, you can use HCP1065 DTI atlas which is from a completely reliable source (the Human Connectome Project), or Johns Hopkins University DTI-based white matter atlases. You can use their datasets for FSL.
