In §3.2 of “Gravitoelectromagnetism explained by the theory of informatons-2”, the gravitational field caused by a rectilinear uniform moving point mass is mathematically deduced. On the other hand, the orientation of the velocity c - in this context called the "speed of gravity" - of the entities that constitute that field (called “informatons”) is determined by the retarded position of the mass [the position of the mass at the moment t0 = t – (the time interval that the constuent elements of the field need to reach P)].
It follows that Eg, the gravitational field of the sun, points to its current position, while c, the speed of gravity, points to its light speed delayed position (the position where we actually see the sun). Are there observations that confirm this conclusion?

In response to the previous comments, I would like to say that in the frame of the gravitoelectromagnetic (GEM) description of gravity:
- Eg - the gravitational field of the sun – should be in the direction of the current position of that celestial body,
- and that c – the velocity at which this field spatially develops - the “speed of gravity” – should have the same magnitude as the speed of light and should be in the direction of the sun’s light-speed delayed position.
If these points are experimentally confirmed, they support the claim that GEM is a valuable way to describe the gravitational phenomena.

The whole cosmological fantasies (Big Bang, Black Holes, Dark Matter/Energy etc.) built on Universal Gravitation or "Free Fall" of Newton and Einstein are false; because they ignore Newton's Third Law of Motion, in the case of gravitational theories and in the realm of the cosmos!

The whole mass field form of the sun is moving following geodesics of the spacetime curved by the Milky Way galaxy. Hence, the regular gravity seems to propagate instantaneously, only changes different from regular spherical dynamics are under the causal speed c.
There was an experiment to try to test this some years ago but the method and interpretation produced some controversy. It's a complex topic, anyway see the link for a starter.

Thanks for the interesting link. As far as I know there are no decisive experiments that - in an apodictic way - prove that the “speed of gravity” is c, but neither there is experimental evidence for the fact that this is not the case.
Hence we are dependent on indirect indications. For example, the statement that gravity travels at the speed of light is inevitable when we want to explain the gravitational phenomena – including the fact that the gravitational field of the sun points to its current position and not its light speed delayed position - and laws as they are described by GEM.
I think the point is that you have to think quite carefully about what you mean by "speed of gravity". The old experiment suffered from that problem. If you mean the speed at which changes to gravity propagate then LIGO's detections of gravitational waves confirms that they travel at close to the speed of light although a third detector will be needed to localise sources and get a tighter bound.

In the frame of “the theory of informatons”, the idea is developed that the creation of the gravitational field of an object is a dynamic process: A point mass at rest in an inertial reference frame O manifests itself in space by the emission - at a rate proportional to its rest mass m - of “informatons”: granular mass and energy less entities rushing away at the speed of light and carrying information about the position and about the velocity of their emitter. These informatons are the constuent elements of an expanding cloud of “information”, surrounding m.
- Within this cloud there is a stationary state. Because the inflow equals the outflow, each spatial region contains an unchanging number of informatons and thus a constant quantity of information.
- The cloud can be identified with a continuum. Each spatial region contains a very large number of informatons: the information is like continuously spread over the volume of the region.
The cloud of information surrounding m constitutes the gravitational field of m. At a point P the gravitational field is characterized by the "g-field" Eg: the density of the flow of information at P.
In that context the “speed of gravity” is the speed of the informatons – equal to the speed of light in vacuum - and consequently the speed at which the gravitational field expands.
It’s also the speed at which changes of the gravitational field travel through space. Indeed, for the flow of informatons associated to a new state of their emitter m it takes a time interval r/c to reach a point at a distance r from m and to cause a change of Eg at that point.
