Hi, I am working on 1MVM at http://www.rcsb.org/pdb/explore/explore.do?structureId=1MVM. I find this crystal structure is constructed by 60 identical fragments based on its crystal structure. The fragment contains a protein and a DNA. In the Biological Assembly 1, the 60 protein form the spherical shell. But the DNA inside is also 60 fragments. Is the DNA in MVM a single chain or 60 fragments?

I'm not sure if I got your question correct, but MVM contains 1 ssDNA chain.
