I would like to kindly ask you about the value of 'cfg.minnbchan' in Fieldtrip.
Could you tell me if the choice of the number of the neighbourhood channels in the cfg.minnbchan should be related to the overall number of electrodes that are included in the analyses, please?

It is somewhat related, as a less dense cap will mean each electrode has fewer possible neighbours (looking for 2 significant test statistics out of 8 neighbours is a lot different than looking for 2 significant test statistics out of 3 neighbours, for example). But it has more to do with the nature of the effect you expect. If minbchan is relatively high (like 2 or 3) then you will tend to detect stronger, more focal effects. If it's low (like 0) you might have a better chance of detecting effects that are weak but more spread out. Another risk with a low minbchan is that two separate clusters of significant test statistics might end up getting connected by a 'bridge' of just a few electrodes in the middle, forming one cluster.
