As part of my project, I need to integrate both soft (TPU/TPE) and hard (PCL) in one go with one layer hard deposition and the other with soft deposition. can you suggest an idea of how to integrate and make an alternative deposition with a single nozzle?
Hai, i am using the composite material which is carbon fiber PLA (cfpla) and wood- PLA. And it is so difficult actually to print cfpla using fdm machine especially the open source. I am using Prusa and Ender, and its so difficult to print due to clogging issue that need me to change the nozzle everytime i finish printing the composite parts. To answer your question, yes it is possible but u need to get reading with the clogging issue and underextrusion possibility when changing the material. Hope this answer your question.
You can look for custom made hotend/extruder or as Siti mentioned be very precise and plan your printing setting in order to achieve what you mentioned. However, oeverall print quality might be not the best as normally printed with one material.
