Sensitive test or diagnostic test is very important for every research. For your case, you have primary data, but you expect to do some quantitative analysis depending on your variables ( let's say,OLS)! You need to test multicollinearity, and heteroskedasticity to make robust estimation.

If you are to run any regression, you should follow along the sensitivity analyses peculiar to the model that your data fits. Each type (survey research, time series analyses, or spatial analyses) has its own sensitivities.
