Is there enough awareness amongst researchers about retraction? Is retraction considered to be a black spot on researchers career? Should voluntarily correcting science not to be taken positively rather?? I invite researchgate colleagues to give opinion and experiences on retraction of articles, quote articles text where ever necessary.
Of course yes, that warning researchers and publishers as well as inform them to follow the ethics and guidelines.

but is it that bad for a career that ppl start treating the one in the act like a rotten apple in scientfic field.
where as the author volunterly opted to retract to keep intigrity of science. Also no second chance for ppl who still learning tricks of the trade as they where like not fully cooked patatoes by their busy teachers or mentors. Every one can have reasons but is it fair to treat all the reasons for retraction as the same and punish them to be outcast??
