It’s easy to find information for most research papers, but it’s not always easy to add that information into your paper without falling into the plagiarism trap. Kindly give tips to avoid plagiarism.
Greetings from India. thanx for ur reply...you have really summed up well on the issue.
My idea behind this question was to give aspiring scientific authors to understand that there are easy ways to avoid plagiarism. Some simple steps that can be followed while writing your research paper to ensure that your document will be free of plagiarism (tips how to paraphrase/cite etc). Personal experiences of various authors.
since "prevention is better that punishing them later"
Reference from previous work is mandatory to provide comprehensive sum up of existing knowledge on a particular topic but effective citation without using exact phrases or copying of exact methodology , is still a dilemma for upcoming authors. Anti plagiarism softwares do come handy to review your work before submission but senior researchers would definitely conduct workshops for preparation of manuscripts avoiding plagiarism ....
