Is PVDF membrane hydrophobic or hydrophilic ?

For treating industrial wastewater through filtration process, the prepared PVDF membrane should have hydrophobic or hydrophilic property.

Also if PVDF is incorporated with some metal oxide, will the hydrophobic or hydrophilic property change?
