IS Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) stable under alkaline condition?

I want to know whether PDMS is stable under alkaline condition, say when it is mixed with K2CO3 or Et3N will the PDMS degrade into small molecules?

I have used 6M sodium hydroxide to modify the surface of PDMS with no detectable damage to the bulk. Some damage to the methyl side chains may happen, but it's unlikely to cleave the Si-O backbone.
