I want to perform the photoluminiscence spectroscopy of ZnO nano-particles. But I am littile bit confused whether using normal quartz cuvette or fluorescence cuvette.
As long as your cuvette is actually quartz, then it should work fine. I can't say much more without knowing the specifics of your setup. I've done a lot of PL spectroscopy with UV lasers though, so let me know if you have any other questions.
Dear Lady, quartz is fabricated and supplied with different levels of impurities. I recommend to use only cuvettes of highest purity in the same manner as you should avoid any contamination of your particles. Anyway, it depends on how much sensitive your experiment has to be (size effect etc.). Wkr, M. Herms.
