We have recently found a dynamic link between the recently discovered Near Earth Asteroid 2012XJ112 and "Macael (SPMN code 271212)" a bright fireball observed over the South of Spain on December 27, 2012. From the fireball emission spectrum we have found that the meteoroid was probably a basaltic achondrite. Then, the plausible link of this rock with that NEO points towards a basaltic nature for 2012XJ112 too. We hope that future reflectance spectra of this NEA could confirm this scenario.
