Breaking the meta-phosphoric acid crystals with a mortar and pestle, weighing, and then making sure all dissolves in water could be time consuming.

Is it possible to prepare a large batch of the solution of meta-phosphoric acid, transfer it to a centrifuge tube, keep it in a freezer for about 1 month (-20degC) and then defrost it in a normal fridge the night before you want to use it?

Note: I'll be using it with fruit and vegetable samples.
