Some experts believe that despite the extensive work of geomorphic/degradation processes on their surface Himalayas are rising few centimeters every year. If it is true then what are the scientific reasons. Whether the mountain building activity/volcanic activity is actively and very powerfully working beneath these mountains and there is a positive difference between constructive work and destructive work? Such kind of questions arise in mind and need to be answered scientifically by the concerned experts.
