Is it solvable to shift product lengths in random RT- PCR experiments?

I am tryng to amplify RNAs by random reverse transcription (AMV) followed by PCR amplification, using FR26RV-N and FR26RV as described in several papers. I got a good band at around 250. It would be better to have larger products to sequence on FLX system. Does anyone have any clue, how to do it?
