Our recent study revealed AMD-related CNV recurrence during anti-VEGF therapy after 14 days of follow-up. It will be very interesting if we try to reduce interval between injections to two weeks. I didn't find evidence that it is unsafe.

If the patient is young or it is vitrectomized ranibizumab is metabolised much quicker so I inject it at 2-3 weeks but I don't have such experience with AMD related CNV. I have injected at 2 week intervals in young patients with cnvm's due to angioid streaks without problems.
I never done so..but yes for ranibizumab , evidences shows safe to inject at 4 week distance ..or rule out other inflammatory cause if at all.
It is prudent to inject Ranibizumab 4 weekly for AMD related CNVM
It seems to be a good idea given the half life of the drug is around a week, and action peeks at around 10-14 days. But as our intention is to decrease the injection load, this dosage should be scheduled for limited patients only. Interesting question though
this is interesting question even for recent onset BRVO with massive macular edema.
There are a few patients in whom this is necessary (see Dr. Rosen's comment). No adverse events were observed. Sill, these are individual cases and it is hard to generalise.
I have done same too and don't think there are issues but it worth looking at
