I want to build a small fault model, considering the tectonic stress, the horizontal stress is relatively high.Is this the case where you can only use the stress boundary.This is a fixed displacement at the bottom of the model, applying forces around the model and at the top?
The boundary conditions are shown below(the size of my model is 150*80*70) :

When such boundary conditions are applied, the stress nephogram of my model becomes very ugly and abnormal. I mean is this the right way to apply stress？

You should to use from " X, Y, Z Velocity" for Faulting simulation.

I don't know how it's going to be in FLAC3D, a situation with non-hydrostatic in-situ stresses exactly. But, in a lot of numerical packages (included MIDAS GTS-NX) you can do this by applying a certain stress in a face (as you're doing) and fixing the opposite face in the same direction of the applied pressure (only this direction has to be fixed!).
This way, the applied stress on the face will produce the exact reaction in the opposite face and thus, the tectonic stress is achieved. I've applied this methodology in software like ANSYS and MIDAS GTS-NX successfully.
