Hai there, i'm planning to write a paper on physical activity and or exercise on blood pressure- meta-analysis of meta-analytical studies. I have found around 10 meta-analysis papers on this topic. now I am planning to write a paper based on this. i'll use the mean (x) of mean difference (MD) and its 95% CI intervals along with 'p' value of these studies to calculate my mean MD and 95% CI. statistically is it correct? or can you give me some other suggestion along with formula for it. I do agree the limitation of this protocol that is heterogeneity and overlapping of studies between articles. give me some other comments please.
