I want to do PCR screening for my staphylococcus species. So, i need genomic from that. Instead by using genomic kit, is it possible to used boiling method to lyse the cell to get the genomic. If yes, can you explain to me how to do it?...thank you
Hi Abdul, if you want only to identify these using molbio techniques, then you can opt for colony PCR (16S rRNA). Best of luck.
Yes, PCR templates can be prepared successfully from Staphylococcus spp. by this method. I am sending you my publication for details.
