I was wondering if I can use LED source for Raman spectroscopy in Deep UV region? What are the cons and pros associated with using LED source?

I guess you will not find a LED (normally > 365 nm UVA) in deep UV region with significant output and nearly all samples will be excited. I suggest using a low pressure Hg light source or Excimer irradiation.

I have no first hand experience with LEDs that purport to generate UV-C (200-280 nm) radiation, but there are some:

Whether they produce sufficient radiation for your application, I cannot say.
