Thanks for the suggestion. The electrospray aerosol generator is mostly used for mixture of liquid with gas. Is there any different or some requirement for the aerosol generator to mix nanoparticles with gas?
You can use a dispersion of nanoparticles in ammonium acetate buffer with the electrospray. The water will dry and you will be left with airborne nanoparticles. Commercial devices, such as http://www.tsi.com/uploadedFiles/_Site_Root/Products/Literature/Spec_Sheets/3480.pdf, work with a mixture of air and CO2, but I think you could replace the air with nitrogen. You can adjust the pH of the buffer to obtain a stable suspension in order to avoid agglomerates.
