Is it possible to replace letters with codon usage in a promoter sequence?

Hello,

I have to synthesize a promoter sequence, but due to Long homopolymer stretches (AAAA...), it is impossible to do it. Can I change the sequence with codon usage without affecting the promoter function in the translation?
