Circuital analysis is a technique that allows the separation of complex problems into simpler ones, which are then joined back into a single response. This way, the parameters of any structure (i.e. Z, Y or S) can be easily found.

Now, let's say that I have a resonator and that through circuital analysis I was able to obtain an expression for the admittance matrix (and thus, also for the scattering matrix). Now, I want to generate the field distribution inside the resonator, but I am not sure about how to do it. Can I map the values for any coordinate just by knowing the scattering matrix?

Any comments/references will be greatly appreciated.
