we study the surface of gray cast iron, i'm facing with Both of Type A and D, i want to know whats the reason of existing both type A and D in on surface?? does it refer to preparation or scientific reason.
In cast Iron there could be type A, type and/or Coral type graphite. There could be transition specially from Type A to Type D or coral type. This transition or transformation could result from the impurities present like S, Te and also presence of O. S and Te especially leads Type A to D transition.
