I am currently working on the design of a hybrid renewable energy system for a factory. I have obtained the monthly consumption of energy but unfortunately the hourly demand load is not available.
Is there anyway to derive the hourly demand profile from the monthly consumption data?

If you have the monthly consumption of the factory you can only calculate an average consumption per day. You can not in principle get an accurate profile for the hourly consumption. You need more information to get the dailly profile.
For example:
The working hours of the factory in the day
The working days
Knowing these data and assuming that power consumption is constant during these working hour you can get an approximate hourly consumption.
The idea brought by Marcel is an other solution.

first it is important to know what type of factory it is. Once this has been clarified, you could check whether there are "standard load profiles" for this type of factory on the Internet or in specialist literature. If you get such a profile, it would be possible to adjust your monthly values to the hourly distribution of the standard load profile. So make an equal distribution.

Apart from the very good suggestions mentioned by the predecessors you can also try to gather additional information about the equipment used in this factory. If you have the information about the machines (power demand) and the manufacturing process you can try to recreate the energy demand profile. It will all, of course, depend on the complexity of the factory itself. What do they manufacture? How many shifts per day? Is the office or other non-production related energy demand included in your monthly data? PM if you have additional questions. We can try to figure sth out.

However, you have drawn my attention to another issue related to the offices. Actually, YES, There are offices within the factory premises. How could that impact the load profile?

Of course. It is a complex approach. Using standard profiles is one option. But how realistic it will be? It is hard to say. Strongly depends on the nature of their business.
The offices might be easier. The operating time should be probably limited to 8-16. You have lighting demand which can be simulated since you probably know their lighting system (power and number of light sources). Computers running all the time but the more tricky part is the HVAC system. Its power consumption will depend on the outdoor weather conditions and the system itself aims at maintaining the desired working environment. It might be tricky to estimate its power consumption without a detailed building simulation.
PS. I believe that the factory is most likely measured by a utility company with an at least hourly time step. Since probably they have time and power-dependent energy tariffs. But not sure how it works in the UK.

The monthly data are obtained from the utility company. I am not really sure if there is a possibility to acquire the hourly data. Maybe I have to communicate with them.

I think the assumption of consatnt load among the working hour is a fairly good assumption. You can see the hourly load profile of a similar factories and decide how far this assumption is valid. In principle the the load profile depends on the activity of the fabric.

If the plant working schedules are same throughout the year (and no seasonal variations), you may observe the load profile for one day (taking hourly consumption readings for 24 hours) and it will be a representative load profile. If change of working schedules and seasonal variations are there, you may have to do this for several representative days.
