I am looking for a way to accomplish basically SEC via a CE system. Specifically I am looking to get a size profile of small peptides starting with 2 amino acids up to about 1000 daltons. Is there a column/mode where I can accomplish this? I am reading about SDS gel electrophoresis aka capillary sieving electrophoresis. It appears the ranges are ~4kd to 200kd is there a sieving phase that can go smaller?

So far most of my research indicates that CGE can't go much below 10kda and that the capillaries are rather short lived and expensive due to damage from hydrolysis. heat, and bubbles. I wonder of there is a derivatization I could perform to give the peptides a more equal charge density to cancel out the effect of charge on the separation.
