A little unrelated but we used to harvest sold ascites tumors from mice from challenging hybs  (some hybs only produce solid tumors) and dissociated the cell mass into sterile PBS, let the cells sit at 37 for an hour or too shaking gently, than spin down the cell mass and the sup would have significant mAbs.
