Jauhar - no that is not technologically possible - and why would you want to do that? Your original thesis/manuscript does not change - unless you change it for publication.
Thanks Dean, the fact was that when I submitted a manuscript prepared based on my own thesis, it was encounterd a high similarity index. In fact, it is academically possible to do so. If it is not technologically possible, any idea how deal with such issue?
Hi Glenn. Quite close to self plagiarism. The thing is that a thesis or dissertation can be a resume of what we had done which also include our publications before submision. In my case, I prepare a manuscript after the thesis published online by my former uni. So, I try to find a way how to avoid a high similarity index concern.
