I want to make a support of PES on which another layer will deposit such as graphene, and I want to do this by electrodeposition. How should I use a system to obtain a porous conductive layer of C on PES?
It is possible. My last publication shown a simple and effective low cost experimental setup designed for a such pourpose. I guess it can contribute to your work.
YES it is possible, 2 methods: 1. sesitizing the surface and coating a layer graphen oxide easily on the susbstrate then heat the sample to convert to graphene,
2. using a binder filled with carbon drivative filler
As per my knowledge, you can't do electrodeposition of your material directly on the non conducting substrate. Direct electrodeposition on non conductive substrate is impossible. I'm not sure about the comments of Prof. Mauro Francisco Pinheiro Da silva and ALi Farzi.
If you are particular about electrodeposition non-conductive surface, you have to make surface conductivey by chemical method like stannous chloride treatment and followed by AgNO3 treatment or other you have to depend on chemical or physical vapor deposition
