Some timers just an example (it is time not timers) there are such mistakes because of autospell. Is it possible to edit our answer and make corrections in RG answers?
Yes. Where your reply says on the top right e.g. "an hour ago" is a "v". Click on that! Then chose "Edit". But you can only edit your own contributions.
Yes, but the edit button is inactive on some android systems, while it is working on all Windows based browsers. If it is inactive, the incorrect answer should be deleted, then the corrected version may be added.
Thanks a lot dr@Beemnet Mengesha Kassahun and dr@Mohamed EL-Shimy for really very nice guidance. I am trying it on android phone. And thanks to all for the lending a helping hand.
Yes, just press the arrow head on the top right corner of your answers thn choose "Edit" from the drop down list, complete your changes then press the save button on the down right corner to save your changes.
Thanks to all for replies. We can edit our answers on laptop but this is not possible to edit answers on android mobile phones. Thanks a lot dr@Beemnet Mengesha Kassahun and dr@Mohamed EL-Shimy. I have edited my answers on laptop and it really works.
A Very nice question. Honestly, I thought that was not possible because I have been always using my mob. Phone for all my RG answers. According to the marvellous annswers of our RG members, now I can use my laptop to edit my answers if needed. Best regards
Nicely said byy my colleague dear Prof. Amir W. Al-Khafaji. I fully agree with him.
That said, you can correct (revise) the grammatical or orthographic mistakes made in your response but not add other ideas or change the meaning of your first response.
It would be better , if the persons who ask questions and answer questions correct the mistakes inadvertently occurred. Many times, I wondered why the respondents are not doing this using the edit and delete features available. Of course, as some colleagues pointed out, this may not be possible with smartphones. As I prefer to use desktops and laptops, I could't find any difficulties in editing.
