Is it possible to do proteinase K treatment after dissolving DNA in TE buffer?

Hi everyone!

I have done DNA extraction using CTAB method. But after quantification, the concentration of DNA was 642 ng/ul with OD 1.64. But the gel results are quite acceptable. I have not done proteinase K treatment during lysis step. I want to ask if I can do proteinase K treatment at this stage? If YES, then what will be the protocol and if NO, what will you suggest I am gonna do.

P.S: I don't have much extra sample for DNA extraction.
