Time also constraints knowledge of the initial state to an infinitesimal closeness. As the initial state is approached the challenges in acquiring information about it increase. Imaging a runner who decides to run the distance between two points by splitting the distance each time. The runner runs ½ of 1 mile, then ½ of a half, etc., this person would never reach the finish line.
