In vibro-acoustics, structural damping is often used, which states that the energy loss is proportional to the energy E. I wonder if there exists a damping model in which the energy loss is proportional to dE/dt. Please kindly give me some suggestion. Thanks!
Energy is power x time, so you want damping as a function of power, is that correct?
You can do this with an electrical analogy and solver such as Tina version 10.

Damping is basically a non-linear parameter. Indeed structural damping is measured through vibration testing (sine/random) and used in the theoretical analysis (Aeroelastic, vibro-acoustic, dynamic response like gust etc). Usually Raleigh proportional damping is used in numerical analysis. It is calculated using Mass and Stiffness of the structural system (refer to relevant book on numerical methods for structural dynamics). In our vibro-acoustic analysis, we use Raleigh proportional damping. However, we do estimate the structural damping through vibration testing subsequently and incorporate the actual value in our analysis. Remember, damping is a frequency dependent parameter.

I have seen some Visco elastic supports dampers that have damping propotional to N/(m/s)^2 - these are the thing closest to what you are asking for that I can think of.
