Can different element types be used for the two bodies with materials A (a layered material) and B (coated on A)? Material A is an electrically good insulator, while material B is electrically conductive. The Thermal Electrical Structural Element type cannot be used for layered materials like A. I want to treat material A with a solid or any other element type that does not include electrical or thermal properties, while material B should be treated with the thermal electrical and structural element type. Mechanical loads will be applied to body A, while electrical loads will be applied to material B. Is it possible to use different element types for these materials (Coated)? If not, what is the solution to this problem?
