My question emerges as I have just came across an interesting correlation (non-causal) between Blue Brain's project on 11-D neuronal structures using algebraic topology, and 10-D Calabi-Yau manifolds. Fritjof Capra, Niels Bohr, Karen Barad, Sandra Kroeker and other relevant scientist have recognized observation/measurement as the fundamental basis for the functioning of quantum mechanics both in the micro and the macrophysical world, stating that self-awareness exist in more than human life forms, giving also birth to consider metaphysics, pan-existentialism, non-binarism and non-objectivism as parameters to study quantum human sciences. The unification of GR and QM can be resolved, theoretically, in one of its solutions, by string theory. Considering that the same amount of dimensions required for strings to "exist" are the exact as those in neuronal structures, and also considering fractal properties in both quantum and Newtonian physics, can it be possible to think of a way to integrate this into string theory?
