I belive Ti will get brittle after anodizing. so is it possible to coat MoS2 on it? and after that what results should I expect about hot corrosion and friction tests?
I think you will be able to do so after heating titanium little bit. MoS2 coat is very good for friction as it will result in reducing wear rate and therefore friction after passing the onset of a test. As for hot corrosion titanium is good. I do not know how it will perform after coating
In my opinion, to coat MoS2 on anodized titanium is possible using ALD (atomic layer deposition). However, this is a sophisticated method and a thin coating. I in your place, used a ultrasonic bath, dispersed of MoS2 in a solvent, brush on Ti and heated until the solvent evaporates.
