Hi, I need to know if there are significant differences between 3 groups (Control, Treatment 1 and Treatment 2) with respect to the presence of a cytokine (the value is the relative density that I got from doing a chemiluminescence test), but I only have one relative density value by treatment. Is it possible to do anova if I have only one data per treatment? (I think not in any case, but it's worth asking) What statistical analysis would you recommend me to compare between groups? Thank you!

ANOVA is based on the comparison of between-groups and intra-groups dispersion measures. With only one observation in each group you can not calculate intra-groups variability. Thus, anova is not possible.

You can do ANOVA if you have n per cell/group and the mean and SD of each group.
